A Bill to Reform College Admissions
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION 1. All colleges and universities MUST render a written or electronic statement explaining a deferment from their institution to ANY applicant that is denied admittance.
SECTION 2. College admissions allows for an unfair and sometimes unjust ruling to students who are more than qualified to attend their institution.
SECTION 3. A. This is done without any form of explanation. Due to the innate amount of time students put into college admissions, colleges and universities owe each student an exact explanation for all deferments rendered.
B. The Department of Education will oversee this bill.
SECTION 4. This law will take effect within six months of passage.
SECTION 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
