For TDL #1 

  • Team Registration forms will be completed online using google forms. The link will be sent out to coaches and posted on the TDL website as well.
  • Congress Topic and submission form for posting bills are listed on the website. Please review and make sure your submissions are completed on time.
  • REGISTRATION for TDL #1 is DUE by Tuesday October 14th by 11:59pm

TDL #5 at Smithfield High School on Saturday, February 15th 2014

Our last TDL Tournament will be held at Smithfield High School on Saturday February 15th.

Team Registrations & Congressional Legislation are both due by Tuesday February 11th at 11:59pm.

All coaches, students, and judges need to check in at Smithfield High School by no later than 8:00am on the 15th of February.

DO NOT POST CONGRESS LEGISLATION ON THIS POST. Scroll down for instructions on posting congressional legislation.

Instructions for Posting Student Congress Legislation

Legislation for the TDL Tournament #5 (being held on February 15th) must be submitted no later than Tuesday February 11th @ 11:59pm.

Here's how to submit legislation:
1. Scroll down to "February TDL Congress Debate Topics" and click on the "comments" link at the bottom of the post.
2. Type your legislation in the "Leave your comment" box (you can also copy and paste from a Word document).
3. Complete the "WORD VERIFICATION" step, as indicated.
4. Select "Name/URL".
5. Type your full name, followed by the name of your school, in the "Name" box. For example: "John Smith - Hickory High School". Please do not abbreviate the name of your school.
6. Click "PUBLISH YOUR COMMENT".
Please note that this is a moderated site, so your legislation will not appear immediately.
