A Bill to aid Mexico’s police force


BE IT ENACTED BY THE STUDENT CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION 1. The purpose of this bill is to aid Mexico’s police force to not take bribes, and have better resistance skills against people offering bribes.
SECTION 2. Aid means to provide support or relief to. Bribe means money or any other valuable consideration given or promised with a view to corrupting the behavior of a person. Resistance means the act or power to resist, oppose, or withstand.
SECTION 3. The U.S. State Department will oversee the enforcement of the bill along with the specific enforcement mechanisms.
A. There is lots of smuggling across borders, and they have not been caught due to bribes. By busting these drug operations, not only would we get a criminal off of Mexico’s streets, but also off of U.S. streets for selling illegal drugs. This would help tighten border control on Mexico’s side because there is also many other problems with people easily getting over the border.
B. It would help strengthen the United States relations with Mexico, because the two countries are great trading partners.
SECTION 4. The actions stated in this bill will take affect immediately.
SECTION 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.

A Bill to bailout the U.S. automotive industry


BE IT ENACTED BY THE STUDENT CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION 1. The purpose of this bill is to pay off all debt that American automotive companies have to banks and other businesses.
SECTION 2. Debt means something that is owed to or that one is bound to pay or perform for another.
SECTION 3. The Federal Reserve will oversee the delivery of the money that will be given to the companies.
A. To protect that the companies will use the money to go on vacations. All transactions must be submitted and approved by The Federal Reserve.
B. Think of the number of jobs that will be lost if these companies don’t have the money to pay off their debt.
SECTION 4. The actions stated above will be in effect immediately.
SECTION 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.

A Bill to Save the American Economy



BE IT ENACTED BY THE STUDENT CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

Section 1. Not a single dollar of taxpayer money be transferred to the incompetent United States auto industry, or any other industry.

Section 2. Incompetent is this context means those who continue to manufacture items that consumers donʼt want, loose all the money they were given, and then try to pass the bill on the American Taxpayer.

Section 3. The Treasury Department shall enforce the provisions of this bill

SECTION 4. This act shall take effect at the beginning of the next fiscal year.

ARTICLE 1. The United States Federal Government herby requires that all Chinese exports be taxed. Chinese exports are shrinking continually. Indicating global downturn and has hit the Chinese economy harder than analysis's had expected. China's exports have fallen since June 2001, when they dropped 0.6% from an earlier year. Director of the central bank's financial survey, Zhang Tao, stated there were signs of the decline earlier. Consumer price index has risen as well as industry. The official date of China's trade in November will be issued by the General Administration of Customs.
ARTICLE 2. Exports are commodities or transported abroad. a commodity is a product as distinguished from a service.
ARTICLE 3. chinese trade is being overseen by the General Administration of Customs and the Chinese govornment.
ARTICLE 4. This bill is effictive immediatly upon passage.

ARTICLE 1. The United States Government will hereby provide Universal Health Care in the United States. There are currently about 40 states that provide Universal Health Care. Universal health care is provided in all wealthy, industrialized countries, except for the United States.
ARTICLE 2. Health Care is defined as health care coverage which is extended to all eligible residents of a governmental region. Industrialized means to change from a pre-inustrial society to a developed society.

A Bill to cut all ties between the United States and North Korea to Minimize the Threat of Attacks on the United States

SECTION 1.This bill shall cut all ties between the United States and North Korea
SECTION 2.Ties between the United States and North Korea shall diminish
because they are building weapons that could be used against the
United States after they told the U.S. that we would have full details
on its long-rumored uranium program, but that has yet to be
revealed.

A BILL TO IMPLEMENT THE SINGLE-PAYER HEALTHCARE SYSTEM TO REPLACE THE MULTI-PAYER SYSTEM


BE IT ENACTED BY THE STUDENT CONGRESS ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION 1. The American government will adopt the single- payer healthcare
system as opposed to its current multi-payer system.
SECTION 2. The single-payer healthcare financing system is when a single
entity, typically a public or nonprofit organization, acts as the
administrator to collect all healthcare fees and revenues. The
federal government, in this case, will distribute the funds received
to all medical care facilities, private and public.
SECTION 3. The Department of Health and Human Services will oversee the
enforcement of this bill.
SECTION 4. This bill shall take effect January 1st, 2010. Beginning on
October 1st, 2009, the federal government will begin collecting the
funds to be dispersed to the healthcare providers.
SECTION 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and
void.

A Bill to Control Gang Violence in Schools



BE IT ENACTED BY THE STUDENT CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION 1. This bill shall enforce Virginia public schools to seek to control
gangs in schools.
SECTION 2. Virginia public schools shall seek to control gangs by providing anti-
gang training for teachers, more school police officers, and gang-
prevention grants for schools.
SECTION 3. This bill shall take effect in the 2009-2010 school year.
SECTION 4. The Virginia Department of Education shall oversee the
enforcement of this bill.
SECTION 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and
void.

A Bill To Protect American Jobs

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STUDENT CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION 1. The United States Government shall designate harsher penalties to
Americans who knowingly employ illegal immigrants.
SECTION 2. The strict penalties will include a possible jail sentence of a
minimum of two years, and/or a minimum $250,000 fine.
SECTION 3. This bill shall take effect January 1, 2010.
SECTION 4. The Department of Homeland Security and United States
Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) shall oversee this
change.
SECTION 5. Failure to comply with this bill shall result in a serious fine, and other
consequences that will be determined.
SECTION 6. All laws in conflict with this bill will hereby be declared null and void.

Resolution to Propose Chrysler & GM to Join Forces


WHEREAS, Stated by General Motor company that is will foreclosed by the end of the month if it dose not receive a bailout or loan ; and
WHEREAS, That if GM foreclosed it will cause a significant loss in jobs; and
WHEREAS, That Chrysler has agreed to combine with GM in order to save jobs and as-well save both companies; and
WHEREAS, That GM should take such an offer in order to refrain form receiving a bailout; and
WHEREAS, That if GM were to get such a bailout it would coast tax payers money in this financial crisis; and
WHEREAS, That if the merger were to take place, Chrysler would not need a bailout thus saving tax payers even more money; and therefore
SO BE IT RESOLVED, By the Student Congress assembled here that we take a stand and state that we wish for GM and Chrysler to combine into one company which might result in some help from the government but would not exceed the money being asked for the bailouts as of now.

RESOLUTION IMPLEMENT SINGLE PAYER HEALTH CARE

Whereas Single Payer Health care should implemented immediately because it will help the many average Americans struggling because of this recession.
Whereas Single Payer Health care will save about 200 Billion dollars including the uninsured as well as increasing health benefits.
Whereas Americans need this program implemented so that they can finally afford health care for their families.
Whereas America is behind many other industrialized countries when it comes to health care even though America has the most well trained medical providers and medical infrastructure.
Whereas their needs to be bills passed to create Single Payer Health care for each individual state so that it can be regulated on a more personal level.
Whereas it can be publicly funded and regulated by a diverse group (doctors, businesses, consumers, providers, and government).
Whereas this program is what can not only save American dollars, but American lives.
Whereas Single Payer Health Care is the answer to the Health Care Problem.
