A bill to end the trade embargo with Cuba
Be enacted by the congress assembled here today that
Article 1: The United States shall end the trade embargo with Cuba
Article 2: All trade restrictions with Cuba will be lifted
Article 3: If proper agreements are made then the United States shall set up trading posts in Cuba
Article 4: Along with the lift of the embargo American tourists will be allowed to go to Cuba
Article 5: The United States Congress shall oversee trade whereas private companies will fund the trading
Article 6: This resolution shall go into effect one year after its approval
Article 7: All laws in conflict with this legislation are considered null and void

A Bill to Enable Online Voting for the General Public to Allow People to Vote From Home

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STUDENT CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

Section 1. To add an online process to the electoral process.

Section 2. An online process is the act of voting from any online device. The voting process is the process of any state or national election.

Section 3. The Federal Election Commission shall oversee the enforcement of this bill.

Section 4. This bill shall be implemented on November 1, 2014.

Section 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.

1 BE IT HERE ENACTED BY THE STUDENT CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
2 Section 1. If a family makes less than forty-five thousand dollars per year, a student will be
3 given one-hundred percent coverage for college costs at a public four year
4 institution on loan.
5 Section 2. The student in return will sign an agreement to pay back the loan within a year of
6 getting a job in the field ( internships not to be included). Dropping out of school or
7 failing to get a job with the field of your degree within two years will result in a
8 immediate repayment of the loan after the two years of schooling or dropping out.
9 Section 3. The Department of Education will head the overseeing of this bill and the State Board
10 of Education will determine the amount for funds due to varying percents of those
11 eligible per state.
12 Section 4.This bill is to be enacted on August 1, 2013.
13 Section 5. All other laws that are in conflict with this new policyshall hereby be considered null
14 and void.

A bill to eliminate restrictions of trade on Cuba
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STUDENT CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED,

Article I: This bill shall abolish all embargo and restrictions on trade with Cuba.
Article II: Trade with Cuba will increase money flow back into the United States and increase the amount of imported goods to Cuba.
Article III: This bill will be overseen by the Federal Trade Commission.
Article IV: This bill will be enacted on the 1st of January, 2013.
Article V: Any laws that oppose this legislation are declared null and void.

A resolution to reform the presidential election

Whereas the electoral college has misrepresented the will of the people, and
Whereas direct democracy will better convey the will of the people, and
Whereas the electoral college system is out of date,
Therefor be it resolved by the Student Congress here assembled that direct popular vote will replace the electoral college for presidential elections.

A bill to increase military pay in the United States
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STUDENT CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED,

Section I Military payments will increase by 50% in all branches of the United States military for those who have served and continue to serve.
Section 2 The funds for this bill will come from an increase in tax revenue
Section 3 The implementation of this bill will be overseen by the United States Department of Defense and the United States Department of Treasury.
Section 4 This bill will go into effect on the 1st of January, 2013.
Section 5 All laws opposing this bill are hereby declared null and void.

A bill to legalize concealed firearms in Virginia
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STUDENT CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED,
Article I Concealed carry firearms will be allowed in the state of Virginia if the owner has purchased the weapon from a legal firearm provider and has passed a test of mental stability.
Article II Concealed carry firearms are defined as any pistol, revolver, or any other weapon intended to propel a missile of any kind by action of an explosion of any combustible material.
Article III The implementation of this bill will be overseen by the United States Department of Justice.
Article IV This bill will be enacted on December 1, 2012.
Article V Any laws in conflict with this bill are hereby declared null and void.

A Bill to cease interest on Federal Student Loans
BE IT ENACTED BY STUDENT CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1. All federal student loans taken out by any student attending a state College or University
cease to incur interest.

SECTION 2. Federal Direct Loan:A loan for students and parents which is used to pay for any form
of education beyond a high school.
Incur:To acquire.

SECTION 3. The Government agency that will oversee the enforcement of this bill is the US Department Of Education.

SECTION 4. Date and time of implementation is January 12th, 2013.

SECTION 5.All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

Article 1: A re-evaluation of all federal and state level disaster response agencies to eliminate any inter-agency redundancies to assist in eliminating any excess spending in these agencies, using performance reports during Hurricane Sandy as a basis.

Article 2: Begin a five year plan to slowly transfer disaster response responsibility from federal departments to state level departments, for the purpose of being able to tailor each response more specifically to each locally afflicted region.

Article 3: To go into effect January 1st, 2013 after this legislative's passing.

Article 4: All other laws that are in conflict with this new policy shall hereby be declared null and void.
